What we store

Aftertane stores the data you enter into your daily log: severity scores, optional triggers, optional notes, and photos you choose to add. Your account is anchored to an email address.

Photos

Photos are private to you. They live in encrypted storage and are only accessible via short-lived signed URLs that your signed-in session can request. EXIF metadata (location, device serial, capture timestamp) is stripped before upload — only the image bytes themselves are stored.

You can turn photo logging off at any time. Deleting your account hard-deletes all photo files within 30 days.

What we never do

  • Share your data with advertisers.
  • Sell your data to anyone.
  • Use your photos to train AI models.
  • Log photo bytes to error monitoring or analytics.

Your rights

You can export your data, delete individual logs, or delete your entire account at any time. Account deletion cascades — every log, every photo, every trigger row is removed.

This is a placeholder ahead of the full privacy policy. The production policy will be generated by Iubenda and cover GDPR, CCPA, BIPA, and MHMDA in detail. The commitments above are load-bearing — the formal policy will not narrow them.
